Questions

What families ask us

What ages and weeks do you run?

Dugout is for boys and girls ages 7 to 14, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Camp runs six weeks in June and July, and you can book one week or several.

What is a day like?

Campers arrive at the Field 1 gate, warm up their arms together and rotate through two rounds of skill stations by position. After lunch in the shelter, the afternoon session is games: small-sided for the younger group, live innings for the older. Friday ends with a scrimmage.

What do we bring?

A glove and cleats that fit, a cap or visor, a filled water bottle, sunscreen already on and lunch in a cold pack. We have bats, helmets and catcher's gear at the field.

Does my child need to be on a league team?

Most campers play on a league team, and some are about to. Tell us your camper's age and experience when you register, and we place them in a group that fits.

What happens in the heat or the rain?

On very hot days we start the hardest drills early, schedule extra water breaks and use the shelter at midday. When we hear thunder or see lightning, everyone leaves the field until it clears. We text families about a change before camp starts.

How does pickup work, and who may collect my child?

An adult on your list signs your camper out at the Field 1 gate between 3:15 and 3:30 p.m. We ask for ID until we know you, and we ask you to tell us ahead when someone new is coming.

How does tuition work?

It depends on the weeks you book and whether you book early and late care. Call us and we will go through what sets it and how it is paid.

How do I hold a place, and how does the waitlist work?

Register for the weeks you want. When a week is full, join the waitlist, and we call you in the order families joined when a place opens.

What do you do about allergies and medicine?

Tell us at registration, and we ask what we need privately. We don't ask for medical details through the website forms.

Can a friend join my camper's group?

Tell us when you register. We look at ages and experience first, and we try to put friends in the same group when it works for both.

Still have a question?

Call the camp or send a message, and we reply within one working day.
