Family policies

What families ask us before camp starts.

Photos of your child

We ask your written permission before we share any photo of your child, on this site, in newsletters or on social media, and you can change your answer at any time. We never put a child's name with a photo, and the photos on this site are examples until we replace them with our own.

What to wear and bring

Send a glove and cleats, a cap or visor, a filled water bottle, sunscreen already on and lunch in a cold pack. Bats, helmets and catcher's gear are at the field, and you may bring your own bat. Put your camper's first name on everything. Phones and speakers stay home.

Drop-off and pickup

An adult on your list signs your camper out at the Field 1 gate. We ask for ID until we know you, and we ask you to tell us ahead when someone new is coming.

When to keep your child home

A camper with a fever, vomiting or a contagious illness stays home and returns after a full day of being well. If a camper feels ill at camp, we call you and a coach stays with them until you arrive.

Meals, snacks and allergies

Families send lunch in a cold pack, and camp serves water and a snack at the morning break. Tell us about allergies at registration, and we ask what we need privately.

Closures for weather and holidays

On very hot days we start the hardest drills early, schedule extra water breaks and use the shelter at midday. When we hear thunder or see lightning, everyone leaves the field until it clears. We text families about a change before camp starts, and again if the plan changes during the day.

Screens and phones

Phones stay in the bag. A camper who needs to reach you can use the camp phone, and we call you if we need you.

Watching practice and the Friday scrimmage

Families are welcome at the Friday scrimmage and sit in the stands for the last innings. Mornings and afternoons are for campers, so please say goodbye at the gate so the groups can begin.

Save a place for the weeks you need

Registration opens in January.
